Workshop Details

Startup Growth Marketing Foundations
Monday, May 15 | 1-4 PM PDT

As a startup, you don’t have the traditional marketing resources of established companies. Growth marketing enables you to move quickly, be data-driven, and most importantly, build awareness while powering organic growth through incredible customer experiences. In this workshop, learn the fundamentals of growth marketing and how to apply it, regardless of business model. We’ll give you actionable frameworks using the Growth Loop and best practices to apply tactics that enable repeatable, predictable, controlled experimentation.

Awareness and Acquisition Tactics
Tuesday, May 16 | 10 AM-1 PM PDT

In the earliest stages, you’re competing for the scarcest resource from prospective customers: attention. In this workshop, we focus on “top-of-funnel” experimentation to acquire new users and customers. We’ll look at the customer journey and the interaction points they have with your product or service, and how to optimize those interaction points. If you’re looking to run growth marketing campaigns at high velocity to “fill the funnel” with high volume prospects, this workshop is for you!

Evaluating Growth Marketing Channels and Tools
Wednesday, May 17 10 AM-1 PM PDT

The success of a growth model relies heavily on campaigns you run—and the channels you choose to run them through. During this workshop, you’ll identify your current channels, which to delete, and which to optimize. You’ll create your own Channel Scorecard to assess different modes by which you can acquire your customers. We’ll also look at how to read the data from experiments that help you calibrate and make informed decisions for growth.

Growth & Brand Marketing Synergies
Tuesday, May 23 10 AM-1 PM PDT

Success doesn’t come from simply marketing products and services; it comes from building a brand. But what’s the difference between growth and brand marketing? Brand marketing elevates your story and sparks an interest from your customers to creates a memorable experience. Growth marketing enables a better customer experience to induce brand loyalty. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build your brand’s personality through various channels and differentiate yourself from the competition. We’ll share stories of how different brand campaigns were launched in tandem with growth marketing experiments to achieve better customer acquisition and retention.

Measuring Marketing ROI
Wednesday, May 24 10 AM-1 PM PDT

You’ve heard of Customer Acquisition Cost and you know companies spend a lot of money on marketing to drive awareness. But are those dollars doing anything to grow the business? If you have a leaky funnel, your investments in the top-of-funnel will go to waste. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to measure return on investment based on your marketing spend and experimentation. Understanding your MROI helps you determine the success of the programs and campaigns you run across the various channels you use to market. We’ll also discuss and explore analytics tools that can precisely measure brand marketing effectiveness and overall ROI.
