Introducing the Desktop Client for AWS Client VPN
We are excited to announce AWS Client VPN for desktop, an application which runs on Mac and Windows devices and provides access to Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and on premise networks through AWS Client VPN endpoints.
Previously, customers needed to use third-party OpenVPN clients to access AWS Client VPN endpoints. These clients provide basic connectivity but lack advanced authentication and management capabilities.
AWS Client VPN for Desktop is built by AWS and works seamlessly with AWS Client VPN endpoints. Customers now have an end-to-end solution designed, built, and operated by AWS.
